It was a dark, stormy day. My life was left with no opportunity, no belonging, no purpose. But as I was walking down the dimly lit halls of Baruch, my heart was awakened. I saw my shining light, my opportunity, my purpose. All of a sudden, I was overwhelmed with emotions, ready to burst. All I wanted to do was let it out. The Accounting Society was the perfect way to express my emotions. As I walked into the room, I was filled with joy, fear and thousand other emotions that I had not felt in my entire life. If it weren’t for this club, my life would’ve remained empty, longing for a purpose. Fortunately, that isn’t the case anymore.
