Writing Center ONLINE!

The Writing Center, located on the eighth floor (VC 8-185) is a great resource for students of all levels to use. Whether you are in the beginning stages of your writing or at the final editing stage, the writing center can be of great service. Highly qualified English professors are at the center to help students work on a wide variety of topics. A few examples are writing assignments, history papers, and working resumes. If you are ever struggling with an essay, be sure to sign up for an appointment in person or online. Students should really take advantage of this free facility in order to improve and better their writing skills.

Now with the help of technology, the writing center is not only available in person, but you can go on to the Baruch Writing Center site (http://writingcenter.baruch.cuny.edu/) to request help. You can make appointments online if you are unable to make an appointment personally. Adding on to that, the writing center site also offers eTutoring! That is if you need help at home or anywhere not near the school. You can upload your writing piece along with your concerns. A faculty member will respond to assist you. 

Now a days with all the new technology coming out, people find it more convenient when everything is online. There is an easier access to things because it is all backed up on a database somewhere. Like many social media sites, the fact that the writing center is online permits students to get connected and receive help from others even when they are alone.
