Journal Entry 17

  1. An outer obstacle that stands between me and my success in college is time management and the feeling of being drained out by the time I get home because of how late I get home sometimes.
  2. Someone besides me who could help me overcome this outer obstacle is my guidance counselor.
  3. This person can help me by helping me establish good time management.
  4. An inner obstacle that stands between me and my success in college is my tendency to procrastinate.
  5. Someone besides me who could help me overcome this inner obstacle is my mom or any of my professors.
  6. How this person could help me is by using time management and stressing the importance of not procrastinating.
  7. The most challenging course I’m taking in college this semester is Pre-Calculus.
  8. This course is challenging for me because by the time I have my Pre-calculus class I am already drained out from the rest of the day and it is a lot of information to grasp in one day and requires more practice and then this is where the time management kicks in.
  9. Someone besides me who could help me overcome this challenge is my professor.
  10. How this person could help me is by helping me get by my challenge and having one on one tutoring.

To create a stronger support system for myself in college I could speak more to my professors and ask them for help even when I think I don’t need it and get help from my peers as well.
