Description: you have arrived, welcome. This is where the magic happens. With their capacity to speak to several senses at once, films can portray a wide variety of inner experiences.
Plot summary: The dreamer tells the story of a reasonably normal teenage kid who gets to relive his day repeatedly. The boy wakes up to the same blissful music he had already heard the previous day but brushes it off as a rare and pretty weird coincidence. But the occurrences that follow make it clear to him that nothing was going to be the same again, at least today. He knows (or at least remembers) everything right or wrong he had done the previous day, and he knows what is supposed to be done. I mean, what would you do, given this opportunity? Try to mend the wrongs and re-write the blunders he had made. Luckily for him, this is the day (or at least was the day) he had done his examination and had failed miserably. He had even slept crying, knowing he was a complete loser, but here was his chance to prove to the world that he could be a winner, a second chance on a silver platter. How could he waste it?
He starts studying for the test but quickly realizes that he could revise the questions he had already done. He suddenly does this and goes on with his daily morning routine. Fast forward to midday, and everything is working as planned. He has had a great day so far and has managed to impress many people and annoy some. People are starting to claim that he has superpowers or something. He’s about to enter the examination hall, and when the paper is handed to him, he even yelps with joy, surprising everyone. It is the same paper, and he submits it in 20 minutes. Fast forward to the next day as he wakes up, he realizes that it is the same day. He is stuck in a loop! He has already mastered all that anyone may say to him and can even recite what will happen today. He is frustrated and a little scared.
Research element: The dreamer shows a typical day lived by an average boy. This could be rightly said even for grown-ups and the middle-aged. Unplanned lifestyle, going about their daily works, not caring about living. When they stumble upon getting rich or succeed in any way, they quickly go for it without any evaluations or questioning. Why did this occur when it occurred? Why should I do this? Do I need this? What happens when it doesn’t work? How about the risks? Where do I get help with this? This film shows that we tend to waste a lot of time during the day that we cannot account for, with only our selfish needs and only attempting to get out of the day instead of just living it and exploiting it fully.
This film also shows that redemption is a possibility. This is the suggestion that we are capable of change and can achieve change if we strive to. This has been a subject of the bible and sermons, and this film can technically be termed as a therapeutic narrative. The use of a movie as art shows how second chances are a possibility and are poised to us now and then. This shows that giving up in life is not an option, suicidal thoughts should be a thing of the past, and we should soldier on with our lives knowing that problems are a part of life. Also, the search for alternatives and solutions to gain love and approval is not a good idea. This is a wrong motivator for one to do good.
Creative style: The movie is expected to portray an insane mongrel commingling. The gorgeous sets and charming visual effects back up this fantasy tale. A movie that describes and continually plays a single day could quickly become tedious, but this film will be different. With a splash of sarcasm and a little comedy, the movie is guaranteed to be a hit. This may vary, though, because a minority of the audience may not enjoy and appreciate or even understand sarcasm. But don’t worry, we have you sorted. The movie will not entirely focus on irony as its only source of comedy. Jokes and smothering burns will also be aired, ensuring that you, the audience are appropriately entertained. All creative works and campaigns revolving around identity branding and illustrations have been carried out, ensuring that the best and top-notch content is delivered to the audience. Using a repeating date is based on the idea that it is such a powerful combination of real-life thinking and how you can get that by repeating the same day. The written script is also out of the box and has a broader appeal. A magical rendition of this fantasy film has superior designs ranging from the scenes to the actors. There is a fantastic stylization of camera work, characterization, and visual effects. The film ends with a message telling the audience to let go of reality and make the make-believe immerse them. All these will ensure that the film is the best there is.
Target audience: While the film is centered on comedy and a little romance, the central message is quite warm and encouraging. The film is aimed at teenagers to adult audiences. It is a gentle and a small-scale effort to encourage people to utilize and maximize their days fully. The film delivers an easily digestible tale that creates a charm of its own, portraying a concise message. The most horrible thing is not knowing what will happen on a preceding day, and we should be prepared for anything, whether good or bad, we should be ready to embrace what is coming to us. Upon discovering that there is no reparation for wrongful actions taken, the kid in the film goes on to undertake risks because of his newfound freedom. His work carries no consequences whatsoever because he ends up waking up the same day every day. We should take all the risky endeavors we dream of because we do not know what tomorrow holds for us.

I love it, this is so like Happy Death Day: an unfortunate deja vu made into an insane mission to determine what was causing the loop. Great Job Jacob!

Thanks Simon!! I agree, I am not sure how I would take advantage of that. Definitely wouldn’t want to be stuck in that loop for too long 🙂
Hi Jacob, this was a pretty funny trailer! The dialogues kept me engaged and the concept is really cool (and scary). Does this mean that Charlie and everyone else will never grow up?

Thank you Tasnuba!! Haha that is a great question. Since time is in essence frozen in this “loop”, I would think so.
Hey Jacob,
I really like this idea of being able to repeat the day in order to se the universe straight. I’m sure so many of us have had these kinds of day, where we’d a like a second chance to reset the universe. This really makes me question if i had one of these, I’m not sure I have, but it would be nice to have a repeat day.

Thank you Ikra! I definitely agree it would be a nice thing to experience. Maybe you should watch groundhog day if you like this idea.
The text you included in the trailer really helped keep me interested and understand what is going on. This movie reminds me a lot of Ground Hog Day, but the point you are trying to drive is differing. By focusing on what we waste our time on and how we only have one shot at it you really screw the nail in with making an amazing point that will leave a lot of people curious about how they waste their won time and how they can change it.

Thank you Leonard! Yes the movie really emphasizes the point you make. It was truly interesting to see how his personality changed throughout the plot of the movie.
Hello Jacob. Your trailer was very interesting as it depended on more of the dialogue to tell the story rather then the images. They still both do a great job at telling the plot of the story. I really would love to see how the movie would end. Being stuck in a loop is very scary.

Thank you Masbah, I agree the loop can prove to be terrifying and very frustrating as well.
Hey Jacob, I keep thinking about the “Yoh!” part, and it’s getting me a little weak, I’m trying to voice out the sound in my head and I can’t seem to pinpoint the sound. I really liked the trailer concept, it seems like such an interesting way to live for a bit, although it would no doubt get tiring. I love how the one thing that gets focused on is the exams even though this mans is stuck in a seemingly infinite time loop, makes it feel realistic because that sounds like a typical student.

Thank you Yaseen!! I feel like although there would be so many cool ways of being in a loop, it would definitely get tiring and annoying.
Hello Jacob, I like the concept of your project, which reminds me of the movie Groundhog day. Your video looks really professional too, like something I’d see on YouTube.

Haha thank you Xavier! The movie is amazing, I saw it recently that is why I thought of this trailer.
Hey Jacob!
Your story is really intriguing, I wish you could have told us the end of the story. Is he going to be stuck in the past forever or will he be able to come back to the present time? Moreover, I also think that the film could be watched by both adults and kids. It seems like a nice comedy movie to watch on a Saturday night with the whole family.

Thanks Michaella!! You should really watch the movie Groundhog day, it is on netflix, there you will see how it ends 🙂
Hello Jacob, thanks for sharing. This is an interesting story. I have seen similar plots in some movie/tv before. It is nice to repeat a day so you can make changes to improve it. However, it can also be frustrating if you can not get out of the loop.

Thanks Ray! I totally agree, it would be really frustrating. Temporarily it might be a good time though 🙂
Hey Jacob! Your video and your story stood out to me. I enjoyed very much how you put the images and the music together to achieve a really good trailer. The plot is very refreshing and sci-fi oriented. Who wouldn’t want to be able of changing things in the past even though it could be exhausting having to relive the same day everyday. It was fun.

Thank you Jorge, really appreciate it! You should totally watch the movie Groundhog day, this was based on that movie.
Getting to relive the same day over and over it becomes at some point a nuisance and boredom because you know the outcomes already there is no sense in spending life like that life is more about making new discoveries and taking risks and enjoying the bliss of adventurous life but overall it’s an interesting project because you have touched on something that a lot people take for granted which is spending their life doing the same thing repeatedly without paying attention to the missed opportunities they by pass

Thank you Naoufal! Yes I agree it could help open a person’s eyes on how they spend their days.
Good trailer and good everything overall. I enjoyed your story of being stuck in a loop. I have never been stuck in a loop but it is an interesting thought. It makes me think about what would I do in that situation.
