I just went through a traumatizing surgery, they basically operated on my whole face, jaw, mouth, and nose. This was my first time under anesthesia or going into any major surgery, days before I am already having panic attacks and more and such over hearing my brother (A surgeon in the same field as the surgeon operating on me) explain to my parents what is happening and the in depth timeline of the surgery. Morning has came and its surgery time and I couldn’t be more nervous, I do not know what to expect, I signed my life away one more time and then I walk to the OR, I did not know I walk there, what was a minute walk felt like a hour. My escort then knocks on the door like a prison door, and a nurse comes out and greats me and checks me to make sure I am AARON, she happened to be Russian. I then walk into the room to be surprised by about 15 or more of doctor and nurses. I payed down, and basically passed out of fear thankfully. A short 8 and a half hours later, my parents get the call that surgery went well and I am in recovery, for a while now. They reconstructed and realigned my jaw and nose to give me a healthy look. My mouth is now wired shut for a couple weeks and I get fed like a animal through a feeding tube (10 weeks). The good of this week is the surgery is over and I am in recovery in the hospital for a bit. Now that is Saturday I am glad to finally allowed to be home. Still in pain as my jaw is hanging by a couple screws and my mouth has a splint inside and is wired shut and I can barley breath. But I am home safe and sound, and that is a RELIEF. Reading Grinalds post I am jealous of there seafood he got to eat. Week 1 complete 9 more to go.
I moved back to New York where I am able to do everything I need to do. I can also see my closest friends and start adjusting back to the way the world used to be. I also went to the beach with my cousin and I got burnt. Finally, I was able to find work so I can recover financially from this pandemic.
Sorry I didn’t see this comment section earlier, something amazing that happened last week was on Friday when I received my direct deposit. Money makes me feel complete.
Over the weekend, I spent time with family at my grandfather’s family home where he grew up in upstate. It was amazing and he told us stories of all the dumb stuff him and his friends used to do including hopping a freight train when they were teens not knowing it was an express train and they ended up getting stuck and lost somewhere far.
It was my girlfriend’s birthday last week so I got to surprise her with gifts and a nice dinner. Then we spent a week together. Even though I had to work when we were together, it was still really nice to be with her and also unwind.
This week a girl that used to be really mean to me came into my work, and I got to talk to her from an adult perspective really see how she changed, and that was really nice. Yes, in the past she was mean to me, but she changed and after having the chance to talk to her from an adult to adult perspective, I realized that there were other things probably happening to her that made her a mean person back then.
I finally mastered how to cook a traditional dish, called alloco. It’s not that hard to do, but if you know me you’ll quickly figure out how bad I am at cooking. I’m not going to say that I’m the best at cooking alloco, but I surely deserve a Michelin star. Gordon Ramsay must be quacking in his boots.
I managed to get out my bed to spend time with my best friend. We went out because it was there birthday and since we have not seen each other for along time it was really fun to hangout and goof around like we used too.
This past week, my baking instagram account reached 100 followers. I was surprised by the immense support from my friends who shared my content to help gain traction. Although the followers count doesn’t really matter to me, it still made me happy. Additionally, I was very happy since I’ve been making lots of different desserts with my sisters and it’s nice to spend.
This week, I biked for over 2 hours and logged in just over 20 miles. I went to a neighborhood in Long Island called King’s Point where it was just an insanely rich neighborhood. There were just mansions everywhere, and it was honestly motivating for myself so I can be rich one day and live in my own mansion.
My new keyboard came in since my old one started acting up. I’m not like a huge keyboard fanatic but I am into them. I am really enjoying this new keyboard and the way it sounds. I also got some new keycaps which make the keyboard more aesthetically pleasing. This is something small that I got some enjoyment out of this week.
I ordered my winter jacket this week. I’ve always said I’m going to buy it because it’s cheaper in the summer. I’m really pleased, because I really wanted one, and I really like that design. It’s from Alpha Industries, and it’s a parka. I’m really happy, and I think it’s coming soon. I went to the beach, too, as Grinald said. He said he was swimming, but my friends and I just walked around the beach. It was very relaxing and fun.
I got a new PC and I’m finally upping my game to 144Hz. I’m sure there are people out there that would understand what would 60Hz to 144Hz mean for a high Gold/Platinum rank Siege player. TL;DR: I’m getting a new computer that I’ve wanted for a very darn long time and I’m hyped.
I was trying to a chop a long thorny wannabe tree with a shovel a few days ago, and it was exhaustingly hot outside. I was covered in sweat, jumping on, snipping, hitting, and just overall struggling to get rid of this darn imposter bush thing whatever it was. My hands were covered in bruises, scratches, and chafe marks and I still had a bunch of other things to do, so I took a short break and started chuckling for some reason. I felt very good for a minute, and I can’t really explain why.
I barbecued in a friends backyard on Saturday. We took turns cooking because it was so hot out and nobody wanted to be on the grill. I think we might have cooked something wrong because I’ve had a terrible case of food poisoning since.
Last Sunday I spent a good portion of the day in the beach all by myself and I played soccer with some of the beach goers we had fun and I swam few times and on the way back I stopped for a Quick bite in McDonald’s overall it was a day well spent
I was able to go on a family trip over the weekend to New Jersey and have a BBQ with my family members that reside there. While we were in New Jersey we also took that time to go fishing on a lake nearby. I have not gone fishing before or ever so I was excited to check something of my bucket list of things I wanted to learn how to do. It was a great short break from all the other stuff I had on my plate but I’m glad it happened.
This past Saturday my band and I did a live streaming on Facebook. It has been very difficult for me and my fellow musicians to do what we love. Since the pandemic started we haven’t been able to perform live in bars. So been able to do a live streaming and get closer to people is very gratifying. After we finished the gig, we talked about new ideas for future songs. It was a very profitable Saturday.
My friend and I went to a park near the water on Sunday. We went there at 7.30 pm which the park is at its closing time. We manage to go through the gate from the side with a “no transpassing” sign. When we get in we saw a lot more people also got in this way. The view of the sunset is amazing that day and I am glad we did not get caught.
I managed to get a free day to go to the beach with my friends. We swam, got tanned, and played beach volleyball which is the best part of the day. Also, we ate amazing seafood at one of the local restaurants. Although I am suffering from a small degree of sunburn because I didn’t reapply sun lotion, it was totally worth it for a nice relaxing day at the beach with friends.
