I find the Othello’s play very interesting especially for this climax where jealousy was heavily played out. Iago was definitely jealous of Othello and Desdemona’s relationship. He played Othello’s emotion very well and got him to kill Desdemona and then kill himself. Jealousy played a dangerous role in this play. Jealousy speaks for itself, jealousy is like a death, even if it doesn’t not result in physically death, once nurtured it can slowly kill a person emotionally.

Guido Guinizzelli and William Shakespeare Comparison.
I will compare both Guido Guinizzelli and William Shakespeare view on love with such supremacy to the other forms of love. Love is described in Guinizzelli’s poem ,as the very thing that”repairs to the noble heart.” It is defined by Shakespeare in Sonnets 116 as one that “does not alters when it alteration finds, or bends with the remover to remove.” In other words these poets are educating their audiences that love is unselfish, it is morally good and it’s highest above friendship, lust and sexual love.. I believe it’s Pragma or longstanding love. I have found this line of illustration by Guinizzelli to be breath taking the way how it is described, “Sun beats against the mud the livelong day mud it remains. Sun does not lose its ray.” Love is like that sunshine that continues to remain bright. Moreover, so to the point as in the Shakespeare poem, love never quits. Whatever life may throws, when the going gets though love repairs, it restores. Love knows no defeat! Love is born to win!.
Is Aeneas a hero? In what ways yes or no? Why might Virgil have chosen to depict him in this way? How might he compare with Odysseus?
I believe that Aeneas is a hero. He has been an encourager to the people throughout the readings. He has given them hope to carry out at various time in their journey. for example in the beginners stage, Book 1 line 270-280, where he comforted his friends and companions, to be more tenacious. He had compassion for the sufferings. I believe Virgil might have portrayed Aeneas as a hero because the people were set out for a new start and at some point in time will need a hero to help them develop fortitude from a warrior to one with a purpose. As like Odysseus both men were fighters and very determine to make it to their destiny. Both have experienced stormy weather, trials and tribulations, and were able to conqueror it all. Moreover, Aeneas’s story embark on a new start of life while Odysseus was returning home.
What does Odyssey have to say about abjection, the state of being or feeling thrown around by the gods or fate or of being exiled from one’s home or desired location?
In my view from the reading, I believe Odyssey describes the experience with pros and cons, although abjection in itself is totally negative. In the flip side good can be withdrawn from any bad situation. Odyssey points out the process of uncertainty and torture. In this situation an advocate is needed. For example, in book one, Athena who is the grey-eyed goddess kept on pleading with Zeus for Odysseus to return home. Moreover, in the positive scene I believe he described Odysseus as resilient and an equipped person. In my take on this he became experienced from being in this situation. Furthermore, as being exile from one’s home or desire location as in this case, Odyssey stated in book two, where Odysseus’s son is feeling the heavy burden of his father departure and the Lords of the island are plundering their homes.
