The Rising College Costs Are Not as High as They May Seem

 

Recently the price of college has increased faster than the inflation rate, but it is not rising as fast as many exaggerate it to be. The reason for why many believe it’s rising at such a fast pace is that the list price of college is what people are basing the rising trend from. The list price is simply the price you’d usually see in the given colleges brochure or website, this is the price the media accounts for. The price that truly represents what a family is expected to pay out of pocket accounts for financial aid and is the actual price, and matters more than the list price.
