Coming June 1: A New Editor

This summer, Blogs@Baruch will transition to a new editor for making Posts and Pages.

Starting June 1, the new default editor will be  The Block Editor which allows for a more visual editing experience and integrates more layout design.

The CTL will host one-hour workshops to walk you through how to create posts and pages with the new editor and transition content.

If you aren’t ready to make the transition on June 1, you will be able to switch back to the Classic Editor, but only until the end of the Fall 22 semester.  As of January 2023, the Classic Editor will no longer be supported by WordPress and will be removed from the system. If you aren’t ready to use the Block Editor, you may re-enable the Classic Editor by following these instructions: https://blogs.baruch.cuny.edu/help/the-classic-editor/

This shift to The Block Editor provides dynamic layout and design opportunities for our faculty, students, and staff to create on Blogs@Baruch—all without needing to learn a new programming language.
