A People’s History of the United States, Chapter 9: Slavery without Submission, Emancipation without Freedom (Group 4, Due 9/26)

Your group should aim to produce evenly distributed posts on each of the entries, so try to pay attention to what others have already posted and choose your source accordingly. Django Unchained (Group 6, Due 9/12)

How is the institution of slavery depicted in this film?  Remember to think divergently, and avoid repeating moments that have already been written about.
