A large number of Honors courses are ‘H’ versions of Baruch courses; in addition, unique Honors courses are offered by Macaulay Honors College. Honors also collaborates with special academic programs at Baruch, such as the Harmon Writer-in-Residence, Feit Seminar, and the Zicklin Honors program.

Honors courses are distinguished by smaller class size (typically 20-25 or fewer students) and enriched learning activities.  Faculty members interested in teaching an honors course should contact his or her Department Chairperson as well as Jody Clark Vaisman, Director of the Honors Program. For interest in teaching one of four interdisciplinary Macaulay Seminars, contact Cheryl Smith, Faculty Director.

Honors Faculty Advisory: Honors is advised by a group of faculty, representing the majority of disciplines on campus.  The Macaulay Honors College also has Baruch faculty representation on committees and the Macaulay College Council.
