Hi guys, there is a video of animated ‘The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock’, and it is read by its author – T.S Eliot. I find it very useful in helping me understand this poem. Hope you like it!

It’s a good adaptation, but I don’t like how they removed certain lines/stanzas from the poem. It feels incomplete without them.

This actually really helped me understand the poem, but I have to agree with Ismael. They cut out some stanzas and I felt like the poem is fragmented enough without some of them being cut… It does feel incomplete without the cut out stanzas, and to an extent I feel like the ones that are cutout are necessary parts of the poem, it almost serves as a bridge to the stanzas read in the clip.

I agree with Gianna that this video was a great visualization of the poem. The one we heard in class was just J Alfred speaking and was difficult to picture what he was talking about and what’s going on. Even though some lines/stanzas were cut out, it was still a useful video nonetheless.

It’s a good video that depict what’s the poem is going on. This video is more interesting than the one we heard in class. Video contains visual images give us more understand the whole poem. The picture in this video looks awesome and I really enjoyable for watching it.
