    I agree with your idea that in lines “I should have been a pair of ragged claws / Scuttling across the floors of silent seas,” Prufrock is saying that he wants to escape the city and its people to somewhere peaceful and quiet. To achieve this, he is even willing to transform into a non-human being. I can also relate to your “hundred indecisions and revisions.” In fact, every one of us is struggling to make the best choice of our life. College major is definitely one of them.
