I like how you related your childhood and high school years to the lines “I grow old…I grow old…I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.” When I read these lines, I thought of them quite literally; I pictured an elderly man growing, really, old. But your description of you growing old physically and mentally, from a child to a college student, opened up a new way of thinking about those lines.
