“Obesity, NOT COPS” killed Eric Garner

Here’s a link to a video that I found regarding  Rep. Peter King’s (R-NY) opinion of how Eric Garner died just a few days ago. Just some food for thought on the idea of Post-Colonialism and Hegemony that exists today.

    I totally agree with hegemony exists everywhere in our society. I have seen several videos regarding Peter King’s statement of Eric Garners’ cause of death. I personally think it is so ironic for him to say, ” There is no racial angles involved in here,” “No one has done more than NYPD to save young African Americans. ” I am thankful for the fact that police officers put their lives in the line to protect civilians. However, it is not enough to justify what happened in Eric Garner’s case.
