Closing the Box? Europe Probes Patent Tax Breaks

Since 2010, Countries have been trying to encourage high-tech, export-led growth, by providing a significant tax break to companies that  generate revenue  from domestically develop and registered patents. Now the EU is investigating 9 countries who use this to spur both domestic and foreign direct investment into these countries.

Why can’t they make up their mind?
