I personally find the movie very interesting. It is a problem that was never touched before, or I haven’t seen the others. The movie, I think, is very inspirational. It showed a lot of things that before, never caught my attention. For instance, I did not know that the whole music industry was monopolized by several companies. I realized that music (not only music, but generally art) is a huge business, especially in the United States. That is actually pretty sad, because I thought the musicians and artists were doing what they do only for the sake of enjoyment and enlightenment; however, turned out to be not true, because if an artist were to make art only for the enlightenment of the culture, they would have no problem with other people having their work and putting new stuff on it. In the movie, it clearly points out the fact that it was the way how cultures build upon other ones in the information age. That is against the whole idea of art and culture. And it is pretty sad seeing such artists like Girl Talk, can get into jail just for doing what everyone should do in the first place; building cultures upon cultures, creating richness of our society.
