Food festivals are held all over the country to commemorate different cultures and cuisines. People are able to mingle and play games, but most importantly they are able to indulge in delicious food. Every September on the streets of Little Italy in lower Manhattan is the San Gennaro Festival. In it’s 89th year, the festival offers everything from fresh pizza to fried Oreos to cocktails served in coconuts.
