Jesenia Lopez, a 23-year-old fashion designer and founder of clothing startup NMBR09, left her Massachusetts hometown to pursue big-brand dreams in New York City. Now, with a home-studio in the Norwood section of the Bronx, Lopez is in the beginning stages of establishing her company with a humble budget and support of the local artist community.
