Shabu Shabu, an asian cuisine that consists of diners cooking raw vegetables and meats in a boiling broth, has exploded in popularity within Flushing. One particular story involves the reopening of Nori Nori, a Japanese sushi buffet located on the second floor of Queens Crossing Mall, into Spring Shabu Shabu. While it is one of many shabu shabu restaurants in the area, 49 year old general manager, Jay Jung, and 29 year old server Tung Tran, give their input as to what made Spring Shabu Shabu unique and how it all came to be.
