The past few years have been problematic for a lot of college students, since they are unable to play soccer. It all started when the city issued field permits in order to play at Pier 5. Many college students that go to the field to play a regular pickup game don’t have permits, however leagues do have them. Often times, it happens that students go to Pier 5 and don’t even get to play, because all the fields are reserved.
