I felt that snowfall did an amazing job in capturing the full experience of the trip by adding all of their multimedia effects. The use of video, diagrams, photos, etc.. really helped to add on to the visual elements of the piece. While the story in and of itself was very thorough in its research and descriptive in explaining the setting, the use of multimedia really pushed the piece to a new level. The use of photos linked to the names of all the people involved made the story much more personal. The dialogue worked very alongside the animated motions and the use of multimedia was always present to push the story further. I felt that the piece was structured very strategically so that despite being a very extended piece, each section was divided and constructed in a way to take advantage of all the different media forms. The large diagrams that mapped out the mountains were extremely helpful in helping me to understand how big of a scale their feat was and understand just how dangerous the trip was.
Another story I feel would benefit from this kind of platform would be a piece done on crime investigations, major fires, etc.. With the use of diagrams to describe the places where crimes took place or how fires happened, people would have a better understanding as to how crimes are organized. This platform would be incredibly helpful in portraying the story of detectives, fire fighters, emergency workers, and the like to push the story to become much more personal and understandable.
