Please note two very important changes to the deadline schedule I posted previously. The first draft of your written story is now due at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 5 (instead of Dec. 1). You will email me your story in a Word document. The second big change is that our final meeting, when we will screen all the final projects, will be on Thurs., Dec. 15 (our scheduled final slot) at 3:30 p.m. instead of Dec. 13, which I erroneously included not realizing it is a reading day.
Nov. 22: Story memo due. Hard copy to me. Anyone who hands this assignment in late will lose one letter grade for every day it is late.
Tues., Nov. 29: First day of in-class production. You MUST bring to class either video you’ve shot to begin producing your video story or files that you’ve collected for your second multimedia project. We will use class time to produce/edit.
Mon., Dec. 5, 10 a.m.: Email me ([email protected]) first draft of written story by 10 a.m. (Again, any day it’s late, will result in points taken off grade) More production in class.
Sunday, Dec. 4: Afternoon open lab with me for extra time to edit.
Tues., Dec. 6: You MUST bring to class either video you’ve shot to begin producing your video story or files that you’ve collected for your second multimedia project. In-class production.
Thurs., Dec. 8: More in-class production. Rewrites and edits for your written stories should be completed.
Thurs., Dec. 15, 3:30 p.m.: This is our time slot for administering the final. Instead, we will use the time to screen your projects. Same classroom. All projects MUST be completed and posted to class website (more instructions on that to come). Mandatory attendance/screenings.
