Videos: Immigration Nation Episode 1: Installing Fear Netflix & Immigration and Customs Enforcement Video “Think you know ICE?”

• Both the Netflix episode and video made by ICE show footage from real ICE raids. However you feel much different when watching the two.
• The “Think you know ICE?” video uses music that is supposed to make ICE seem like heroes protecting us from those seeking safety and a better life. They use editing to state all the responsibilities that ICE has without any detail on the effects of their actions.
• The Netflix episode uses the real footage with the narration and music to tell the stories to show the reality of what ICE is doing and how they are ripping families apart. For example in one scene an ice agent was forced to take a father from his family. His young daughter cried hysterically as they made him get dressed and leave his family so suddenly in the middle of the night, not knowing if he would ever see them again. Hardly a word is said by anyone as it all happens all you hear is the pain from the daughters cries.
• Is their a way to abolish ICE? & How many children still haven’t been reunited with their parents?
