This class is one of the best classes I have ever taken. It has challenged me in many different ways. I came into this class without a real idea of what to expect.  From the start, I knew this course would challenge me. I didn’t know anything about 3D printing, or what came along with designing a printable object. I didn’t know how to design in sketch up, and it posed a challenge for me. I spend a lot of time using inDesign and Photoshop, but never learned autoCad. It was interesting to learn, because once I did it was so much fun. I also learned so much about the markets for 3D printing and what companies are doing now to make money by using 3D printing. I think what shape ways is doing is incredible, and I never even knew who they were before this class! Before going to maker’s faire I had no idea about the amount of people and progress the world of 3D printing has made. I have learned a lot about what the future of 3D printing looks like from reading our textbook. I excited to learn more, and I think we still have a lot more to cover.
