The beauty of sight:
While sitting in a park enjoying the gift of being outside,
You start to appreciate the beauty of the scenery and your eyes open wide.
One is then connected to nature and all it has to show,
No phones in sight, just you, the sun, and its natural glow.
Leaves falling off the trees, birds chirping in their nest, dogs running on the grass,
All these are from the gift of sight and moments you want to last.
Appreciate being able to see beauty as well as ugly, the two go hand-in-hand,
If you can only see one and not the other, life would be bland.
So I say to enjoy the gift of sight, for it is a part of us until the very end,
Enjoying the view with company will make it all the more fun, so next time bring a friend.
