I have a personal connection to the problem where I get discouraged to take risks and feel that given my experience with it I can bring forth a well-constructed paper that focuses on those components.

Thesis: The fear of failure is a pervasive societal issue that hinders progress and innovation, leaving individuals and communities stagnant and unable to move forward.

To support my research on the fear of failure and its impact on society, I plan to conduct a thorough literature review of academic journals, books, and online resources. I will also conduct surveys and interviews to gather empirical data and personal perspectives from individuals who have experienced the fear of failure.
The types of sources that I will need may include psychology and sociology journals, books on the subject of fear of failure, case studies of individuals who have overcome their fear of failure, and data from surveys and interviews with people who have experienced the fear of failure. Obstacles that I might encounter when conducting research on this topic include finding reliable sources and data, dealing with personal biases and preconceptions, and obtaining informed consent from participants in my surveys and interviews.

I care about this topic because as someone who has a personal connection to the problem of being discouraged to take risks, I have experienced the negative impact of missed opportunities, lack of personal growth, and a feeling of being stuck.
