When I first began the project I had in mind to design a subway advertisement. It was a very tedious task for because I was stuck on the technical parts of indesign and photoshop. This project required us using everything we have learned thus far in class. I guess my problem was sticking to a specific design because we had so many choices. After numerous tries i decided to incorporate the “i” of iPhone because we rely so much on technology now to go throughout our day.

I decided to imitate the iPhone alarm clock and recreate it with colorful words and the times that I do each thing. I left a lot of white space to focus more on the words and to show the simplicity of iPhone. I tightened the letter spacing in the alarm times so it can seem more as an alarm. In the last word Run, I used more letter spacing to vividly show running. This project was the most challenging for me to complete, but I am very satisfied with the end result.
