Despite being new to the fashion industry, Sloane Stephens, a 20-year-old American ranked at a career-high No. 13, had a high interest in playing a part of Fashion Week. Stephens walked the runway Thursday night at The Just Dance With Boy Meets Girl fashion show at STYLE360 at the Metropolitan Pavilion, modeling the designs of Stacy Igel.
She practiced her runway walk by pacing the hallways while in New York, trying to improve and show her dedication to this new interest. Although there is much pressure on the spot, she is trying her best to live up the reputation of this huge fashion event.
She further shows her love of New York by stating, “Love when I come to New York; I do all my shopping, I spend too much money. I’ve already bought all my gifts for the rest of the year two weeks ago”
As many of us can relate to her words, New York remains one of the most fashionable states in the US, and inspiration and motivation to many- regardless of where they come from.
