Gender is defined as “the psychological aspects of female or male”. (5)

Sex

On the other hand, sex is defined as “the physical aspects of being female or male”. (5)

Note: Gender and sex are terms that seem to be used interchangeably, but they are different. 

Sexuality or (Sexual Orientation)

It is defined as “a person’s sexual attraction and affection for members of either the opposite or the same sex.” (5)

Heterosexuality

This term is defined as sexual attraction to someone of the opposite sex. (5)

Homosexuality

This term is defined as sexual attraction to members of the same sex. (5)

Bisexuality

This term is defined as sexual attraction to both sexes. (5)
