Solving a Problem 10/13 (Prototype)

After observing members of my family, I decided to try and serve my grandmother. My grandmother is a resilient woman who has endured two knee replacements and the removal of 50% of her lungs due to a smoking related history. Her doctor and daughter (my mother), suggested that she should exercise but she claims she is limited due to the strain she faces on her knees and cardiovascular system but wishes there was another way. In order to create a product that services her, I have designed a stand that includes a cardio component that works on the upper half of the body while remaining in a seated position and keeping the weight off the legs. While that aspect will help my grandmothers endurance and conditioning, she may supplement it with resistance band training. She will be able to attach a resistance band on to the stand at the base with a clip. This will allow her to perform exercises that will strengthen the corresponding muscles (shoulders/back). All she will need to use this equipment is a chair of her choice! Here are some photos of my prototype, let me know what you think.
