HOST: Today, we’ll be diving headfirst into the fascinating universe of Roblox. Roblox gives its users an online platform where imagination takes the lead, and friendships are formed in virtual realms. My guest is an 11-year-old Roblox aficionado by the name of Alani Price, who’ll guide us as we explore through the excitement and creativity that makes Roblox stand out.
TRACK: Sitting face to face while we occupy the living room. I, Adriana Pipkins, am in the presence of 11-year-old Roblox gamer, Alani Price. Who started her Roblox journey around 4 years ago. I started our conversation by asking her what was her favorite game when entering the world of Roblox.
ACT: ALANI: The first time I played “Adopt me”. It was really engaging to me. “Adopt Me” is basically, you adopt a pet or you could adopt a baby, and it basically a roleplaying game, that you can have fun in.
TRACK: With such a social game, did you start playing with friends, I ask as she scrolls through her laptop on the Roblox application.
ACT: ALANI: I started off playing it with myself but now I play with my friends and cousins
TRACK: Many times, games such as these include simulators that give a sense of real-life experience to kids. Alani eagerly agreed as she told me the real-life skills she feels she’s experienced since being a Roblox member.
ACT: ALANI: I feel like I learned like real life skills like how to drive, I mean I really don’t know how to drive but it’s kinda like simulators, they teach you kinda how like to drive and the basics kinda. So I think it really taught me some life skills.
TRACK: Alani will soon expand her talents in the Roblox universe by venturing into the world of creating accessories within the game.
ACT: ALANI: In the future, I might start a Roblox shop and sell my items to people. My favorite item that I created was a tee shirt with a Bad Bunny collage.
TRACK: it's clear that Roblox isn't just a game; it's a canvas where young minds can paint their dreams and let their creativity run wild. The world of Roblox is a place where children can explore their artistic talents, try their hand at graphic design, and bring their ideas to life in a virtual world.
