Another horror film where five teenagers head into the woods, to a log cabin. Unlike the rest, the ending is not quite like the others. This is, absolutely, one of the better scary movies to come out recently…You will not be disappointed. 

This is a classic 1990’s slasher film that will keep you entertained! It recieved a solid 80% on Rotten Tomatoes and two thumbs up in my book. Also, check out Scream 2 and Scream 3 to complete your scary-movie-marathon-night.

While going on vacation to their mountain cabin, Tucker and Dale’s peace is disturbed by a group of college students. This film delivers a successful mix between horror and comedy. If you are new to scary movies, I recommend starting with one!

Carrie is a cult classic from the late 1970’s about an outcast teen with supernatural powers and her prom experience. This movie is highly rated and, highly, horrific.

Another cult classic, Mia Farrow stars in Rosemary’s Baby as a young pregnant wife, who becomes increasingly suspicious her unborn child is in serious danger. This is a must see!

Although not highly rated by all, this movie has you hiding behind your pillow at times. A group of crooks go in search of a rare box of VHS tapes. You will never believe what they find on those tapes.

Based on Steven King’s novel, this chilling film revolves around a rural town that falls into the hands of a murderous group. Again, not the most top rated but a valid suggestion if you’re into “corny” horror movies.

If you are looking for a mix between sci-fi and horror, this movie for you. Hellraiser is the story of an undead man seeking to rebuild his body after losing it to demons from another dimension.

The Awakening is spooky film about a skeptical woman who goes to investigate a haunted boarding school in order to solve the mystery of a ghost student. Although this movie lacks blood and gore, this horror flick should not to be underestimated.

Set in the 1980s, this terrifying horror film is about a college student who takes a babysitting gig. Little does she know, there is a very dark and twisted secret hiding upstairs.
