Student Printing Accounts in January Intersession

Beginning today, students taking courses for the January intersession will have a $30 printing account (that’s 250 printouts at 12 cents each).

  1. I just dealt with a Baruch student who is not taking intersession classes who said he had many articles to print. He was very upset that his student printing account did not carry over from the fall semester. He said this was not posted, which I have not had time to independently verify. I thought I would mention this as this may happen frequently during the next few weeks. Also, when I came to the desk I was alerted that many students who are taking classes this intersession were receiving messages that their logins were invalid and it was best to direct them to the help desk.

  2. On the Printing for Students page that is part of the BCTC collection of pages on the Baruch site, it says, “Each student receives a limited allocation of laser printing at the beginning of every semester. The print balance is not carried over from one session/semester to the next and students cannot add additional funds to their Pharos account.”
