I am working on getting us back on.

EBSCO has launched its own federated search, EBSCOhost Integrated Search, and we have a trial. It is in the list of databases under EBSCOhost Integrated Search. At present it is “out of the box” but will probably change as we play with it, but only the databases provided by CUNY are part of this trial. If you have comments or suggestions, or care to compare with Bearcat, that would be appreciated.

Serials Solutions products have a downtime scheduled from noon to 6pm on Saturday, October 24. This will affect our full-text list of e-journals and Bearcat.

Today is the last day to comment on this trial.

We have a CUNY-wide trial to all 10 collections provided by Books 24×7. The collections are listed in the database page. Comments and discussions are appreciated.

Advertisers and Agencies Online/Redbooks are in the process of upgrading their site so you may encounter problems accessing it until the full upgrade is up.

Connecting via our Database page, you will get the main page for Advertising Redbooks. If on the top right hand corner it says “Welcome Guest” click on “Sign On” right next to it.

If you get a page that has a username/password login box in the center, look further down where it says “IP and Portal page customers: Use on Site Access page” and click on “site access”.

This should take you to the database. Please do log-out after use, and do let me know if you experience any issues.
