The artist I picked from the article ”7 ways of misunderstanding interactive art” is Sherrie Rabinowitz. She was an American video artist and a pioneer in satelite based telecommunications art. Rabinowitz developed a series of projects called ”Aesthetic Research in Telecommunications” in the 1975. These projects addressed a multitude of telecollaborative arts and virtual space performance issues that never been tested. one unique thing about her artwork is that during this time, satellites were the only viable means of transmitting full motion video across oceans in near-realtime, so her artwork basically reflects that idea and portrays the whole aesthetics of it. Her artwork really reflects the 80’s in my opinion because of the colors she uses. almost like an x-ray vision. This is the link where I got to see all the cool artwork by Sherrie Rabionowitz.
