The Melting Mosaic of New York

ny map mosaic

This map from a NY Times article depicts the racial and ethnic composition populous communities in New York City. “The Melting Pot”, a term coined by Israel Zangwill, defines the diversity of our city, New York, and our school, Baruch College. Both settings contain a wide range of foreign born peoples. In the future, it is likely that our mixture of cultures will expand and spread, in the city and at Baruch College.
