New Fossil Findings May Rewrite Evolutionary History

Scientists at the Georgian National Museum have found new evidence that we might have developed from a single, evolving linear family. This discovery can be attributed to a fossil known as “Skull 5”, which is a complete adult skull that allowed scientists to compare it to other skulls from Africa. There findings have showed that all these skulls might have come from a single population made up of the same species. These species resemble the Homo erectus, who were hominids that lived 2.3 million years ago. Even scientists who are not involved in these findings are calling it extremely important . This could also change the course of evolutionary biology and variation in what scientists previously have thought the early Homo comprised of. These findings show that they might have been short but had limbs which enabled them to walk a great amount. It also showed that they might have smaller brains.
