Fans bitten by the Twilight bug will more than enjoy Melissa de la cruz saga of juicy vampire novels Blue Blood, Masquerade, Revelation and the Van Alen Legacy.
In Blue Blood the Vampire saga begins with Schuyler, a 15 year old girl that attends Duchesne in New York, with kids that are from elite families with big names, grand houses, fast cars and expensive clothing. Schuyler however is nothing like the others, she is more of a loner and prefers the simple life of vintage wear. Until their worlds clash when they all discover they belong to an ancient vampire society they can not refuse and powerful secrets that bind all of their past lives to one another.
The drama continues when young blue bloods are mysteriously being murdered.
Schuyler left with only one companion, her best friend, Oliver try to uncover the truth while being distracted by the sudden interest Jack Force is showing who also happens to be the most popular guy in school.
The action is then transitioned into a long anticipated exclusive Masquerade ball held by the wealthy and powerful. Masks and elegant gowns that look like an old style costume help the young Blue Bloods find who they are or who they really were.
Lives and hearts are put at stake and envious eyes from Mimi Force bare down on Schuyler and puts her in danger, so she seeks help in Italy.
Revelations is when the battle between good and evil heats up. Schuyler’s purpose along with other young blue bloods becomes much more clear. Powers and skills are developed. Chances are taken and no one knows who to trust anymore. Friends become enemies and forbidden romances have to fade away if Schuyler wishes to live.
In the end an unexpected identity of a blue blood is revealed shocking everyone.
The Van Alen Legacy is the heart pumping epic twisted ending of survival that I enjoyed the most.
Love, Passion, duty, hate, freedom are all issues they all face and difficult choices they all have to make.
Twilight has erupted a crazy fixation on the fictional world of vampires and fans will satisfy their thirst with this series.
