Panama City, Florida – on the Gulf Coast – is, among other things, known for its naval base and diving facilities, where the emphasis isn’t on outer space and astronauts, but ‘innerspace’ and aquanauts. I spoke to Diving Engineer Jim McCarthy about his role at the Man in the Sea Museum – a museum dedicated to the military, recreational and commercial history of diving.
