Kate Spade New York (KSNY) has released their new accessory collection with the polka-dot clad queen of Disney, Minnie Mouse. The media conglomerate started the campaign Rock the Dots in celebration of the fashion icon and partnered with Sephora, UGG Australia, along with KSNY to bring the Minnie Mouse out in all of us. The red and white polka-dot filled collection includes a clutch, coin purses, tote bags, a sweater, and phone cases.
The most popular Minnie Mouse accessory from the KSNY collection is the handheld clutch, priced at $328. What makes this item so appealing is the black chunky glitter on the outer fabric, with the signature red and white polka-dot bow on top of the frame closure. The clutch is also plated with 14 karat gold lining. It is perfect to pair with a little black dress since the design is very minimal, with a splash of color with the red and white polka-dot bow. The clutch definitely exudes elegance while also revealing a woman’s fun and cute side.

Minnie Mouse first rocked the red and white polka-dots in color in 1935 and the style has been the center of the fashion world ever since. Not all items in the collection contain the infamous polka-dot bow — some items show a comic strip design to give the classic 1935 Minnie Mouse feel to the items. If you are a fashionista on a budget, do not worry. The collection contains affordable accessories, such as iPhone cases starting from $40. Sadly, these are the cheapest items in the collection. The collection is not limited edition, so you have time to save up and someday finally buy the favored items, or just wait until they go on sale.
The Minnie Mouse collection is only available through the Kate Spade New York website and will not be available in retail stores.
