Digital Literacy Narrative

I took this class because my Peer Mentor advised me to take it. βitβs the best English class you can ever take!,β she raved, and I therefore signed up. I then noticed that the class was a hybrid class, which was great for my schedule, but I was a little bit worried about it. But I stayed in the class, and when all the rest of my classes were on Monday and Wednesday, I still stayed in the class. I was determined.
This is my first semester taking a hybrid class. In addition to this one, I am also taking Business Law. My law professor continuously tries to scare us away by sending us emails about how hard and daunting a hybrid class can be. I think that it will be challenging. I really do. I am not the best at doing things ahead of time (Check the post date of this post π ), so this will not be the easiest thing for me. But challenging is great. Challenging is opportunity for growth. Iβm hoping that through this class, I will become more responsible and on top of doing things ahead of the due date. Way ahead. Going into this class, I hope to participate both in the physical classroom, and the virtual classroom.
As for my earliest memory of writing.. I have very distinct memories of my first grade journal. It was in school. As much as I have tried to keep a journal for my entire life, I always end up stopping after a day or two. Three weeks is my current record. But in first grade, writing in your journal is mandatory. In class. And so I had to produce. Daily. I would love to have a journal now.. a place to document my feelings, my emotions, and my llfe. But something about the self-motivation is hard for me. I respond better to answering prompts with word counts. Maybe this hybrid class will help teach me how to work on my own, and motivate me to write a journal. And keep writing. J
