Malcolm had a tough time expressing his ideas in written form. He was not able to express his ideas the way he desired. Writing was important for Malcolm because of all the attention he gained. In order for Malcolm to be articulate in writing, he self taught himself. This can be relateable to my research because many people don’t have the opportunity to have literacy education. I can also make connections with people who have a struggle being articulate.
