What is a SmartDesk?

SmartDesks are desks that have integrated in them the latest touchscreen tablets with the latest software. These desks are a one-size fit all. These desks can physically adjust to the height and weight of most individuals. SmartDesks can hold up 350lbs and adjust to the height of someone who is  7’1.

Who benefits? Everyone. SmartDesks are a smart investment. They help students learn more efficiently through online textbooks, software programs, and help interact better with professors through a master communication system with the professor. Professors benefit also because SmarDesks help eliminate the time it takes for taking attendance through quick I.D scan, professors may shut down all tablets at his podium if they are not need for a particular session, the tablets have limited access to the internet so that students don’t get distracted, and students may take quizzes and exams on the tablets themselves in order to make grading more efficient. Schools can benefit because more students will be attracted to a school with the latest technology in their classrooms. They get quality education with A-grade technology and students will notice the potential of success through any school that has SmartDesks installed and this will help increase the number of applicants to the school.

How does it work?

SmartDesks are desks with the ability to physically adjust to a persons stature by moving and adjusting the metal instrument that connects the desk with the chair. SmartDesk tablets work as normal tablets do with a few adjustments. The tablets are under the table and out of sight until needed. For example, if you are writing and need space on the desk is under the table and when needed, it flips upward from the bottom without taking any physical space on your table. Our tablets are touchscreen, are able to record attendance through student I.D scanner, and  are interchangeable with the newest tablets in order to help students keep up with latest software.
