makey makey!!!

This was one of the most fun thing we did in class. I love creating stuff. At first, when Prof. Kaufman told us about makey makey, I had no idea what she was referring to. Finally, when how makey makey works was demonstrated to us. I was really intrigued, I had so many ideas going through my mind but most of them felt like I was getting ahead of myself. While brain storming with my group members, we were trying to avoid the idea of playing any instrument because it seemed too easy. But every other idea had to be discarded,  mainly because we did not have enough knowledge about the extent of makey makey.

So, we came to the next workshop/ class undecided about what we were going to do. That’s when, I proposed the idea of playing pacman, it seemed like a fun thing to do. After everyone agreed, we painted the key and started playing pacman. Even though it was really difficult to play it at first but eventually all of us were in sync and we played it  for a while. Just after that, one other group member proposed the idea of drawing a piano and playing it. After everyone agreed, we drew a piano, but it had to be thrown out because we connected the lines together. But, after remaking it properly we were able to play a song in our paper piano. Honestly, it was really amazing to me. I was equally surprised and excited by this workshop. I am really looking forward to see what the 3D printer can do.
