MaKey Makey

I always admire people who possess that talent to invent something unusual and useful. Before, I never got a chance to create something in technical area, and never tested any technical inventions. That is why, the thought, how close technical and humanitarian ideas are connected to each other, never came to my mind.

During the experiment with MaKey MaKey, our class was given an opportunity to create a new way the invention can be used. At the beginning, the process was absolutely similar to the brainstorming phase in writing. Our group had many ideas, so we chose one and started working on it. We did not know exactly  what our idea was going to look like. The same thing appears in a writing process, when you are just following your thoughts trying to organize them in a special way. As it turned out, we started working on one thing and finished the process having a completely different invention in front of us. Compare to the writing, this is the most difficult part, when starting, for example, an essay on one topic you  finish the paper talking about absolutely different things. You never know where your thoughts and ideas are going to bring you.

I really liked the experience with MaKey MaKey. Though our group was using it just for fun, I am pretty sure this unpretentious thing can significantly benefit schools and be especially useful for children who, for example, studying another language.
