When I first found out we weren’t going to have class in the 23rd st building and were going to have class at the 25st building next to the library I was very confused I didn’t even know the building existed. Then I walked into this conference room with my class mates and there it was the Makey Makey and a bunch of different objects. At first I didn’t realize the point of our english class working in groups to make either controls for our laptop games or musical instruments with banans and play doe. After a while working with my group of class mates it all started to make sense and was less confusing.
The point of this makey makey project wasn’t just to have fun making controls for frogger out of gummy worms and play doe. This group project was a new innovative way for us to understand how to work out our problems in our head, like when your writing an essay and you cant figure out what to write about just think of the makey makey even though we had know idea what we were doing nothing is impossible to work out. I also thought the organization of our ideas when making the makey makey could also relate to us when writing, because when writing you need to organize your ideas before you start to write. The whole makey makey project was not just fun but was a very good learning experience and I hope we get to make a makey makey again.
