While living in New York, certain moments will always stick out to you. Sometimes life here seems too hard to keep up with it, with all its enormous expenses, living and working 24 hours a day, and endless crowds in the streets. However, there are definitely days that make you feel glad and proud of living in the city.
Everyone is privileged to live in New York. You are getting used to the enormous spending, when right after you leave the house, 20$ somehow disappear from the pocket. You are getting used to the non stop life here, while listening lots of sirens in the street late at night. Even at home you cannot feel relief from the city’s energy.
New York has so many special areas that totally different from each other. While living in the same place, you usually stop noticing special things about it. However, by travelling to other locations of the city, you will be surprised how different they are from each other. As good as for the cost of a subway fare, you can travel to another world like Greek area, Russian area, and Chinatown.
I am sure, most of us has his/her own special moments about New York. Most of us like the city, but it also has to like us. Some of our memories might seem insignificant but they are all moments when you looked around and felt yourself a part of it all. For example, after having not the best day in your life, on the way home, you cannot stop thinking over so many problems, when a lonely saxophonist, playing a pleasant tune in the subway, gives you relief and makes you fell much better. Yes, it is hard to live here, in New York. One says, “if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.” But why would you bother to go anywhere else?
