I plan on doing my digital essay on the poem “To the Mountains” by Eileen Myles. For my digital essay, I am thinking of making a video of pictures and poem lines with an appropriate soundtrack in the background. I will and try and select pictures depicting each scene of environmental destruction or degradation caused by actions of humans.
In my mind, I want the video to be characterized and dramatized so that it is overwhelming, but I hope it plays out and impacts as good as I expect. The questions running in my mind right now are what kind of soundtrack do i need and where will i find it?
Other than that, I feel there should not be a problem. Any suggestions for my topic would be greatly appreciated!
