“All the Hemispheres” by Hafiz
I honestly don’t know where to begin but I have alot of ideas floating around in my head. The most prevalent idea that I had was making a flash-card story video in which…well here’s an example of a teenage girl’s story about bullying: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vkEOzZtkOY .
My argument is that you cannot fully appreciate/experience what life has to offer until you look inside your own self in order to “open your roof” and realize who you truly are and who you want to be.
In my mind, I chose a very difficult poem to write about and to even do a digital essay on. I guess that is the challenge. But, I’m thinking of making it personal and instead of doing a regular close reading, I will tell a story with that poem. I will do a close reading but it will either pertain to me or someone’s story that affected me greatly.
QUESTIONS I HAVE:
If I come across a better poem could I switch if I email you with another proposal in a few days? (I plan on sticking with this one, but in the case that I cannot work with it how I imagined.)
How does my digital essay proposal sound? Is there any idea I should focus on, perhaps?
Are there any suggestions on better ways to present this argument and poem in digital essay form?
