When I first started this paper I was totally confused what I should write about. Even though I liked the poem ” Preface to a twenty volume of suicide note”, but I was having a hard time writing about this poem. I didn’t really have a proper thesis statement and I was really confused about the whole structure of my rough draft.
However, after the peer review and the conference with Prof. Kaufman I feel like I have a better idea about what I should write about. In my essay I am trying to connect the poem with the struggles that Baraka was going through. I feel like this poem really demonstrated the struggles that the author faced in his life. Even though, I have a good idea what I am going to be writing my paper on but I have no idea how the digital part of my paper is going to look like. So, I am still trying to figure out what my video/slideshow is going to be about.
